Now that the wedding has come and gone. I’ve decided to reveal my process as a bride, as I see so many other creative women do, because for me, it’s more about marrying your best friend – it’s about having an entire day full of perfect little details surrounded by every single person you love.

Since so many of my clients cross over into the wedding industry, I’ve had to opportunity to work on the other side of the process many times and now I’m finally “the client”. When I started thinking about my big day and choosing vendors, I knew that first I had to get my thoughts down on paper.  It’s so much easier to visually show people what my vision was. This helps with cake bakers, florists, bridal party, invite design etc. Always being able to refer back to something also provides a “checks and balances” approach for your own big decisions. That way you can make sure it’s in line with your original vision.
